The whole idea of same-sex marriage just wants to make its way into every living being, and pronounce itself acceptable. It shows children growing up that they should
“like” the same gender, because of course, the world deems it as acceptable and normal; it has become a right.
The whole idea of love is not the problem, it’s the way it is portrayed or used. The second argument against same-sex marriage being morally wrong is, Modus Pollens.
Modus Pollens says that “[I]f P is true, then Q is true, and if Q is false, then therefore, P is false.” (Landau, 139) So, if marriage is right, then same-sex marriage is right. But same-sex marriage is wrong, so therefore, marriage is wrong. That is, by all means, unsound.
Marriage is the permanent relationship between two individuals, being a man and a woman; same-sex is of the same gender, and that leaves premise two in a false state.
Marriage is what makes a society civilized, and the act of homosexuality destroys that.
