The story of Ratatouille is one of Pixars greatest creations, Remy a master chef stuck in the body of a rat. Although Remy is trapped in his rat like state he is still the best cook at Gusteaus. I wish and aim to be more like Remy, although some might say my dreams will be hard to achieve or nearly impossible to reach I will think that anyone can cook. Anyone can do anything with hard work invested. Remy has a dream similar to mine in his desire to be successful. Remy understands that in his life nothing is given to him and he is going to have

The sound of this filmed is used to bring you down to the level of Remy so you can see the world through his eyes. Senses of the film are made prevalent through the use of sound. When Remy finds cheese in the opening scenes in the yard of the woman 's house they are staying in, the use his sniffling nose to make the audience know from previous experience to know exactly what that cheese smells like. They use the sound of the nose instead of taste because taste is individual to everyone and it is much easier to appeal to the crowd with the sense of smell. When Remy takes a bite of cheese smooth and creamy music play in the background to give you that sense of taste, and when he takes a bite of strawberries a louder more vigorous tune can be heard. When these to flavors are combined the sound of fireworks can be heard to compare the sensation of Remys taste buds to the food. Through the use of this the film is able to give you that authentic experience of Remy through the perception of sound. Ratatouille is a true masterpiece, through the use of multiple connecting themes to the way sound creates the actual feeling of taste. It takes you to the front lines of a Paris restaurant and the romantic world the film is placed in. There is a reason this film won multiple awards in 2007. This film has shown me that no matter who you are or the situation that you are in, you can make anything of yourself through the use of hard

This movement consisted of two groups of directors, the Cahiers , majorly consisting of critics turned filmmakers and the Left Bank who consisted of individuals who went straight into filmmaking. Jean-Luc Godard was within the Cahier division. Ratatouille is a 2007 American film produced by Pixar that follows the journey of Remy, a young rat that aspires to be a chef, and his garbage boy turned chef friend Linguini. The whole film summarized into a sentence is basically that Remy’s dream of being a chef and Linguini 's dream of being a success is only possible in the end with the help of the other one, emphasizing the importance of collaboration. However the important take away is not this heartwarming lesson, but rather the way that global communities stereotype those with a standard American accent, such as the one used by both Remy and Linguini. According to Jessica Love of The American Scholar, European accents are typically perceived as high class and knowledgeable in foreign…
