How is it for instance, Dylan Thomas was very wonderful and intellectual writer, also a strong believer in the spiritual world as well. Now if one were to compare the poems stated above by Eliot and other poems by Dylan, that have a similar topic in mind like “The Prologue” and “The Force That through the Green Fuse Drives the Flower” one would see complete disagreement. Dylan Thomas had much hatred in his life, along with being a man who was an alcoholic. However, as seen in his poems they show much appreciation to life and the beauty of earth and its nature. Which is so strange to think that a man who didn’t have stability in his life would write about the how much he adored plants, animals, and even other human beings and as for another man (Eliot) who did happen to have a concrete life, and a relationship with God, he writes about what seem like hate and how this world is basically a living hell in his eyes. In reality Eliot appeared to have it all, but in his poems, plays, and other forms of his art it came off to be cold. Was it that Eliot put on a good show, a hard and strong outer shell but on the inside felt like he was alone and really hated life? Or rather what it all just an act? No one will ever really know, just reading the between the lines is the closes to an answer any one will ever
