Three books I have read for pleasure are The Brief Wondrous Life of Oscar Wao by Junot Diaz, The Four Agreements by Don Miguel Ruiz and Flight by Sherman Alexie. The Brief Wondrous Life of Oscar Wao made evident multiple things, one would have to be “that this world there’s somebody who will always love you” meaning no matter what you're going through as a minority get up and be successful because theirs always a person who will always love you. The Four Agreements made evident to me that one's life can drastically turn because of one's words, personality, and/or assumptions. As Ruiz provides us with examples of everyday wrongs and rights guiding the readers from what’s right and wrong. Flight helped me realize that one is able to control their
