This book is about a girl thats name is Carly and her mother is in the hospital because she was beat by her boyfriend, and so was Carly. At this point in the book Carley is now at the murphy family home and lives with three boys a woman and a man that is a firefighter.
The number one reason you should read this book is because there are so many detailed flashbacks like the time she flashbacks to the time that she is beaten. That flashback is an gruesome flashback.
