Summary Of The Book 'Lovely Bones'

We all have lied probably once before in our lives but its not a good thing. In these two books in “matched” and “lovely bones” you will see that lying and tell the truth is happening. In the book matched it talks about Cassia lying to Xander that she has feels for Ky and keeps it behind Xanders back which is not good thing you should always try to be honest and kind to your friends and not hind that behind someone's back. The same thing goes for “lovely bones” where Mr. Heavy hides from the sammons that he killed Susie Salmon and hinds it from them so look out for that not trust that is the two books that I am doing.
Book 1 in the book “matched” talks a lot about not being brave. On page 188 Ky asks Cassia “anything you want to tell me?” this is where Cassia should have been brave and told Ky that she didn't tell Xander what happened that she has feels for Ky. In that moment Cassia probloay should have told Ky what she feels for him be inased she is not going to tell Xander how she feels. This is showing that the reader knows more the character. Sometimes you have to do somethings you don’t want to do you have to get threw it and not keep it lie and lock up instead of you.

The author of this review is Kristina Killgrove, and her review goes over the various aspects of the episode, including the plot, and the accuracy of the anthropology part of the show. The author’s main point on this episode of bones, is that the episode was just a regular episode, in which nothing detrimental to the overall plot of the story takes place. The Lovely Bones’s setting is important considering it was back in the 1970s, when people didn’t comprehend such horrible events such as the following: murder, rape, and kidnapping. In the 1970s people had just begun to realize that kids were disappearing, being killed, raped, and other horrible acts, whereas in today’s society, it’s a common occurrence. Susie said in her narration that “This was before kids of all races and genders started appearing on milk cartons or in the daily mail” (Sebold 5). Therefore, this quotation clearly establishes the setting so people can understand that it was much different when Susie died; and why people didn’t suspect it was Mr. Harvey.…

Authors have numerous methods available to them for this task, including devices such as symbolism. The items that Susie leaves on earth, while not mentioned as important, hold significant meaning to the overall story and plot line. In “The Ways We Lie” by Stephanie Ericsson she discusses and breaks down the activity of lying into different kinds of lies. Ericsson goes into great detail of about 10 of them, but there are many more. Some lies are for your peace of mind and maybe still bad for both parties, and some are for the better of someone else’s feelings. Ericsson believes that even if you feel you are perfect, nobody is and still tell lies no matter big or small, we do it and at times are unaware that it is considered a lie. Individuals nowadays get to a point where they are lying and don’t know whether to believe themselves or others.…

Most lies told are for the purpose of protecting one’s reputation. As seen in The Crucible, many main characters lie in order to protect their reputation. According to David J. Ley, Ph.D., most people who constantly tell lies “are often worried about losing the respect of those around them. They want you to like them, be impressed, and value them. And they’re worried that the truth might lead you to reject or shame them”…
