The “Banking” Concept of Education In the feature article “The “Banking” Concept of Education,” the author, Paulo Friere explains his views about the banking concept as the wrong method of education. This type of education shows teachers as narrators while students as puppets. Students have been calling as puppets because they have to accept and remember the knowledge that they get from their teachers without hesitation. In addition, the article mentions that students could not ask anything even though they have some problems with the particular subjects.
