Is Google Making Us Stupid In the article, “Is Google Making Us Stupid”, the main point the author, Nicholas Carr is trying to make is that show the readers how the internet began to change our ability to read books and other long articles and how it was before starting using the internet. Presently the internet has become our primary source of information, we google everything we don't know and will get the answer right away. Even though the internet is useful in many ways, it also shaping our brain’s learning skills in the process. According to the writer, people are losing the ability to read and think critically; the first thing author did is show the problem to the audience about how he can’t focus on reading. I think that we really have a great source to expand our knowledge. A knowledge outside of class and it makes the lives of the people easier. however, people are spending too much time in the internet it is changing our thinking, it is becoming Inveterate. It is also very distracting, when we use the web we don’t stay in one thing for long. Therefore, I believe we are developing a new behavior which involves moving on quickly and multitasking. Instate of reading people are only scan through the material because after a few minutes it is hard to paying close attention. The author states that deep reading is the basic thing of deep thinking. Unfortunately, I couldn’t find information about the solution to this problem. We are using the internet increasingly however, every person responsible for their actions, including deep reading and thinking. No one is forced to use the internet, but it is tempting, and it is becoming a need because of our living
