The claimant testified his left foot has been broken two times in the past 18 months. He has arthritis and is in constant pain. He needs assistance with walking. His hips lock up and he falls. He had a right hip full replacement. He cannot turn and walk. His right wrist is inflamed when trying to lift items. He is sick every morning. He has ha d kidney problems for a long time. He sleeps a lot, does not go anywhere, and does not drive. His medications cause him to be sleepy. The claimant further testified that he stopped taking narcotics because he “had had enough”. He takes meloxicam and naproxen. He cannot stand because of lower back pain. He has problems walking and his father helped him inside today. Bending and stooping hurt. She can cook in a microwave. He stated he does not do any housework or outside work. He watches TV, has no social activities and friends. He eats once a day. Cold, rainy weather triggers pain. The claimant reported that his concentration was affected and his mind roams. He has problem with people telling him what to do. He has used a walker for three years and his doctor prescribed it. He takes medication for rheumatoid arthritis. One of his kidneys is shrunken but he does not …show more content…
He reported he had a terrible time walking because of his hips. He cannot sit long because it hurt his back too much. He stated he fell more than once a week, sometimes two to three times. He feed his dog and two cats but his wife cleans the boxes, tends to the dogs, and feeds them sometimes too. He reported that his joints are swollen and makes it difficult for him to dress. He does not bath much because he is afraid of falling. He has a hard time holding utensils and feeding himself when his wrist swells up. He stated he cannot handle stress or changes in routine.
