The author was born with what he calls, water on the brain. The not so fancy term for saying he had cerebral spinal fluid in his skull. Also he was grew 42 teeth, 10 more than the average human. He had continuing eye issues and was in general given one of the worst situations in life. This constant day to day life of getting bullied and beat up could have shaped his values for the worst, becoming one of those people that despise the human race, and feel some just got to go. Instead he found a source of happiness, this was art. This started out as more of a hobby, because it’s safer for kids like him to stay inside, all he could do was draw. Eventually, he started to draw better and made more meaningful pieces. His reasoning for drawing is, not everyone can speak English or Japanese, but everyone knows what a flower looks like. Art is a way to connect with the world, not just a certain audience. This comfort and home he found in life, due to his condition shaped his life in amazing and beautiful ways.
