In today’s time teens use their phone for everything. People mainly see teens’ text on their phones. Have you noticed the way that they talk to each other? They use the text-speak or “digitalk” language. What that means is, instead of using “you” for a sentence, they will use “U” in the place of the real word. Is that crazy? In the passage,” Text-Speak Harming Teens’,”A study conducted by the University of Calgary, college students were asked whether they read or whether they texted. Then, the students were given numbers of words to read, both real and not. The study then concluded that the amount of students that texted more were less likely to accept or acknowledge the given words. The students that read more had a better turnout of acknowledging
