Malcolm Gladwell explains how revolution has changed over time, he expressed that our way of thinking, our way of doing thing has evolved by the way society thinks and how technology has advanced. But he also tells us why we have forgotten how to create a revolution of big events that have happened in our World thru out time. This event shaped the way that we see things and the way that we do thing. Well he thinks that social medias just das not do it for hem. But he still over looks all the major changes that are happening today because of social medias. Gladwell is wrong because social media has united us together as people to achieve a common goal. Today, people still understand that one person cannot do it all and that to gather followers efficiently you need social media to do it more efficiently. But he wants to think that social media has a negative impact on society. He believes that the real activists are the ones who are not using technology and are working with the people they know. And have strong ties with to make a difference. But conventional wisdom has it that anything in ample amount can lead to disaster. Gladwell is right that with social media people are able to communicate faster and more efficiently. But he undermines this idea saying that social media is not the best way to go. Gladwell also talks about modern activism a how it lacks organization but that’s not true the idea that social media cannot have order is an amity accusation if you planning to make a movement people can posted in social media asking who is willing to help you are bound to get an answer from people that want common goal. He dos brings the examples that contra dikes hem. The example is a story of Evan and a friend Ivanna. The story is that she lost her phone in a taxi. The telephone company transfers the data on Ivanna’s lost phone to a new phone only to find out that the phone was with a teen from queens. Evan email her asking for the phone back she refused to give it back, So Evan uploaded to a web said the story of what happened and it spared so much that everyone was talking about it. It ended becoming a big deal and effectively got the phone back and the person that stole it arrested. This proves that social medias have the power to make
