Advertisements (ads) are a way of communicating with the world. It can be an audio or visual form of marketing communication. There are many things that can be advertised like ideas, goods, services as well as events. Many things come along with advertising like having the right platform, money to do the things one wants, having a sponsor and carefully preparing. Etc. Advertising can be on store windows, online videos, packaging, magazines, events, doing your advertisement the right way gets the readers and or listening interested in your message. The advertisement Shake Shake Sensible Meal, by the Slimfast company is introducing new smoothies. Slim Fast is a weight loss system that consist of meals and drinks. It shows there “tasty shakes” and meals. The ad provides statements that drinking the shakes your able to “see results in just one week”. The audience this ad is trying to have is people that wants to be slim and do it fast. By having Hazley L. on the image holding the slimfast powered it shows off her nice body. The audience is basically for anyone who wants to lose weight However, they have a big image of a women named Hazley L. It doesn’t exclude men however the big image of a women puts it out there that its primary for women. This is where males may be confused, and might get the impression that yes I want to lose weight but, it may be only for females. Even though putting a woman on the ad isn’t the best idea, it’s good to show that someone could lose weight from it and even gives a link you can put into the computer to see her weight lost story.
