At the end of the day, we all might have to make a choice. Your decisions could end up causing you to betray someone in order to stay true to another person. In the reading “Sin” Agnes Repplier had a choice between lying to her mother and keeping her best friend. Her decision to lie to her mother and keep her friend backs up the idea of betraying your country is more easily done than betraying your friend. Your friend is someone that probably grew up with you. In the text “Sin” Agnes made the decision to lie to her mother not knowing that she was going to hurt anyone by lyng.
