In the story “Seventh Grade by Gary Solo”The protagonist/Victor learns a lesson,he learns a lesson because he embarrassed himself by pretending to know French when he tried to impress a girl named Teresa. The author states in paragraph forty six “Great rosebushes of red bloomed on Victor’s cheeks. A river of nervous sweat rathen down his palms. He felt awful. Teresa sat a few desks away, no doubt thinking he was a fool. Without looking at Mr. Bueller, Victor mumbled.”This shows that he was nervous when he was called on when he tried to impress Teresa and thought that if he put up his hand that she would be impressed.An other way he learned he lesson by the teacher was about to tell Teresa that he didn’t know French.This is stated in paragraph
