In this scene, Romeo and his friends infiltrates the party the Capulets are hosting, Romeo and Juliet meets and falls in love at first sight. This scene is significance because it shows the meeting of the two lovers that started a chain of tragedy between the two houses, the scene also explains how the two were able to met when the two houses of Capulet and Montague are separated.…

The Fake Death Broken Down One short scene in a play can make an enormous impact on the rest of the play. Act 4, Scene 5 of The Tragedy of Romeo and Juliet William Shakespeare does exactly that. Through preparing and presenting this scene, I was able to better understand both the scene and its’ importance to the play as a whole. This specific passage sheds light on both the reality behind many of the characters and their true feelings for Juliet, as well as the recurring theme of love.…

My personal, imaginative representation of ‘Romeo and Juliet’ will be primarily be based on the future image of an Apocalyptic scene. There are a few matters from the genesis text that I would like to alter, such as the fact that Romeo and Juliet do not die. Also, as the genre is future-apocalyptic, the setting will be in the future world where there are two colossal islands, Montague and Capulet, which are identical in size and resources. These two continents hold a grudge that has been building in tension for hundreds of years. During this period of time, Romeo finds Juliet in the Capulet party, and immediately, they start loving each other.…

The decision that I found to be particularly hasty was Romeo's decision to commit suicide. I believe that this decision was impulsive and fueled by Romeo's emotions. It lead to not only his death but his lover Juliet as well. If Romeo had been more thoughtful instead of letting his grief and desperate thoughts overwhelm him, he could of created a different ending for the play, one not as tragic. Before Romeo made such a decision, he had been waiting for Friar Lawrence in Mantua to send him news of the uplifting sorts when Balthazar had told him that Juliet had died.…

For anyone who dared question my life choices, I may seem as though I had half-assed my marriage with Juliet, but that’s probably the one thing I don’t regret. I know we rushed too quickly into it, but I loved her and she loved me back dearly. The only thing I truly regret is killing Tybalt. I just lost control over the fact that he killed Mercutio right in front of my eyes. If I hadn’t killed Tybalt, my future would have been different.…

The first mistake the Nurse makes is helping Juliet marry Romeo in secret. The Nurse, to some extent, encourages Juliet to marry Romeo, knowing neither Romeo nor Juliet have parental permission. She even passes on the message of the proposal from Romeo to Juliet: “[Hie] you hence to Friar Laurence’ cell, There stays a husband to make you a wife.” (2. 5. 68-69) Most of what happens after Romeo and Juliet’s marriage is one big downward spiral that does not end until the tragic deaths of Romeo and Juliet.…

(Act 2 scene 4 lines 151-154). Here, Romeo is being told not to play around with Juliet and to treat her right, as she is still young. From this, the audience can see the contrast between the love that Lord Capulet has for Juliet and the unconditional love that the nurse has for her. Shakespeare has used Lord Capulet and the nurse to represent the familial love that took place in the play, and how conditional love was common…
