Summary Of RSA Animate: Changing Education Paradigms

The second video I watched was RSA Animate – Changing Education Paradigms. This video was amazing. I thought that everything in it was wonderful. The drawing really helps the listener to focus and be able to actually follow along with what is being explained. Also the voice and tone were nice the speaker cracked a few jokes and was fun to listen to and all of those things were very effective. The only things that were ineffective to me were that there was no actual person in the video. The video is lacking that personal connection. Being able to see facial expressions and body language is important and this was missing. The other is the speed of the speech, it was a little fast and with the drawing it would be nice for the speech to be a little

Although everyone thinks differently, the book Night by Elie Wiesel, proved to be the best teaching medium for a high school audience. It shows a good quality of information, understanding, and pretty good interest unlike the rest. The other teaching mediums weren’t as good for many reasons. To be specific, the documentary Oprah Interviews Elie Wiesel wasn’t the best wasn’t very interesting because of the way it was done. The whole interview was very slowly paced so it was easy to stop paying attention.…

The general purpose of this speech was to draw attention to our societal isolation, and how we don’t do enough to promote positive mental health. Mr. Junger talks about the horrors of war, and the toll it takes on veterans. He talks about PTSD and the mental health of these veterans. He then talks about how these veterans return to the U.S., and find themselves isolated and alone. He uses examples of how bad veteran suicide is here, and contrasts that with the Navajo warriors and Israeli soldiers.…

After watching all four video, on the most famous speech in literature it is hard to chose which is the "best". If had to pick the top two I would say that Ethan Hawke was the best followed closely by Oliver's Hamlet Film's. Both of these videos were easy to watch and enjoyable. They both were able to gain the listener's attention from the beginning of the speech. I believe the Ethan Hawke rendition to be the best since it was the most interesting.…

    1. Why do price changes cause a budget line to pivot while income changes cause a budget line to shifting a parallel manner? Price changes cause a spending line to rotate, when it does this is opens up more open door for various mixes and divider climbing that beforehand were not reasonable. The reason why Mr. Hagan wanted us to watch that video because the article in it stated that humor can be used to increase effectiveness by double. The idea in it was that by giving yourself a humor break, you are able to completely restart yourself and work better. I personally agreed with it and thought that it was one-hundred percent accurate. Which after watching that cat video is why I am feeling a lot more productive than I was before. I really thought that a study on this was really necessary because it would prove to teachers all across the United State and more that these short breaks of humor really affect our productivity in the class work that we do every single day.…

Of all the videos that I watched, I decided to choose Abnormal by Peggy Hebard because the title sounds attractive for me; the story that she created with her memories and the artworks in the museum sound really fantastic; finally, the form of how she expressed showing feelings in a neutral voice. Likewise, I really enjoy the form of how she explains her ethnicity, childhood, the social problems few years ago, and how hard is for a person from another country, with other religion, and so forth lives in a place where everyone show indifference to you. Another point that I really enjoy was the artwork that she…

It helped enhance my knowledge of what needs to be done around the world to lift even more people out of poverty.…

When the video talked about how children were sent away to boarding school because their parents did not know how to handle them or communicate with them, it broke my heart. These children did not have regular communication with their families so they seemed to rely on the other children for love and support. Hearing the interviewees talk about their schooling adventure was pretty cool because they all had similar experiences. However, their experiences were not the best. Many of the people interviewed said that their deafness was treated as a handicap that…

Coming from a person who isn’t a big Science-Fiction fanatic, the way Andy Stone gave his speech over Science-Fiction movies, instantly made me feel giddy like a little girl on Christmas morning. The way Andy Stone started off his speech talking about Christmas first had me questioning his thought process, but after he made it flow into the rest of his introduction, which lead him into his body points about Science-Fiction. He also had a great thesis that helped the receivers understand what his speech was going to be about. Not only does Andy make this a beneficial informative speech with specific examples and statistics, but with the humor he adds in makes it a speech everyone needs to listen to whether you are a Science-Fiction lover or not.…

Her word choice was carefully picked, precise and clean. Her tone was a calm yet persistent one where one could see how subtle but also determined she was on her work. She would pause just enough to make a clean speech, she didn’t hurry off or seemed nervous in any way which only interested the audience into paying attention to her. However, one may think that she would have an even more effective speech if she would of played with her voice a little more or do some sort of hand gestures. If she would have changed her voice into a stronger one she maybe could have expressed some strong feeling that wasn’t empathy or remorse.…
