Even after the second time reading this book, this was by far my favorite series of all time. It mentions a boy by the name of Percy Jackson that has many problems in his life. This includes diseases such as ADHD and dyslexia, doing bad in school, and having a horrible father. However, this quickly changes when Percy is taken to a Camp Half-Blood, a camp for demigods, people half human, half god. There, Jackson finds this his new home and realizes all the campers in Camp Half-Blood have the same negative situations as him. From here on out, us, the reader, feels a the emotion of joy because many of us can connect Percy's happy experience at camp to our own lives.
