Courtney Dow’s article explains possible solutions to sex trafficking. Ms. Dow is the Director of Out of Darkness, which is a non-profit organization. She has assisted victims of sex trafficking in ten different countries and has received the Auburn University’s Young Alumni of the Year Award. She has also been recognized as a young influencer, because of this I trust her expertise in this area. The Grits and Grace Project, where her article was posted, is an online website to help strong women. They have an online magazine option as well as a podcast to help spread this message of strong women. I triangulated solutions to help victims mentally enter a new life as mentioned in Dow’s piece with both the Office of Justice Programs and the Department
