Moon Shot is written by two authors. Alan Shepard was the first American to be in space and also one of the main people in Mission Control during the moon landing. Shepard was also an extremely good pilot and was known for wanting to land on aircraft carriers over anything else. Deke Slayton is the author. He is also another military pilot who is very good.
