Summary Of Life Lessons From Andy Wink

Decent Essays
Multiple times, I’ve read the book Life Lessons from Andy Wink by Steve Paulding. In fact, I’ve even performed in a play based on the book. When looked at from a Christian point of view, the singer Tobymac puts it quite well in his song “Undeniable”:

“You’re the bright and morning star,

But still you speak to my heart,

Undeniable, you are, you are….”
This truly explains what the book is about. In the very first chapter, the protagonist, Andy Wink, helps out his friend with his hygiene problem. Andy shows his friend that he’s not alone and that there’s always someone willing to help. Chapter two shows the reader that Andy has someone watching over him and guiding him. The young man finds a poem on the floor of the school hallway and makes

The narrator is an unknown drug user that is just shifting us through different incidents that he has either witnessed or been a part of. There is no exact theme, in my opinion. Each chapter has a different story to tell with one thing in common; the feeling of being alone. There is an immense amount of characters; the unknown narrator is the only constant thing.…

Title: “Taming The Star Runner” The title makes me wonder what kind of horse The Star Runner was. It sparks my interest and makes me also wonder how he tamed the Star Runner. The title fits well with the book because in the book the main character was untamable like the Star Runner. I was excited to read another S.E. Hinton book.…

The Book The Walk On Is a very well written piece of literature that captures and highlights the essence of coming of age. It gives very clear reasoning as to why the young boy in the story has to grow up and move on as his parents get divorced. The book highlights his moments on the football team as he tries to win a State Championship in a brand new state and school. The story’s context is very straightforward and it doesn’t include a bunch of shenanigans about how he feels remorse for leaving his old school and how he has moved on.…

As seen in Into the Wild, it shows, Chris, as he goes through the coming of age, he acquires knowledge from those who he passes along the way. In this book I learned that no matter who you are, you don’t need a label or nickname to be guilty or to be treated differently, just because of the nickname or label they, people put on you. In the end of the novel. I loved how S.E. Hinton ended the story with going back to Ponyboy starting to write the essay because he was remembering how Dally acted so cold hearted forward everyone when he got out of jail but he believed that he couldn’t be happy no more because of such bad memories he had. But they prove Dally wrong but also it was to late because he got…
