From an outsider’s perspective, Kyle McDevitt seems to portray a loner with the way he silently sits in class, obeying the teacher’s commands, but we all fail to realize that he actually genuinely loves people. He fears isolation and solitude and enjoys having the company of others when he becomes upset. He finds comfort in the smiles laughter of his friends and peers.
