Imagery plays a big part in Just Lather, That’s all by Hernando T`ellez. As Captain Torres walks into the barber shop and asks for a hot shave, the barber says “I started to tremble. I continued sharpening the razor and tested it on the meat of my thumb”(Just Lather page 209). He recognizes Captain Torres of which he despises, since he kills people on his expeditions “fourteen”(Just Lather page 210) exactly. The barber thinks Captain Torres is a cruel person because “the town goes to see the rebels bodies hanging there”(Just Lather page 210).
