Judicial Tyranny
Judicial tyranny occurs when a judge declares the federal or constitutional laws null and void in the process of his court case decision. Currently the greatest threat to the thriving American democratic space is the supreme powers of the judges over matters with regard to politics, socialism and economic issues. The judicial tyranny is made manifest in the judicial system infiltration by the executive branch of the government through the influence of the president, congressmen and their voters who relinquish powers without knowledge of its impending dangers. The book is written to address particularly voters to awaken them up with regard to their powers to elect whoever they like to serve in the judicial systems of the Supreme Court (Sutherland & Dobson, 2005). The book exposes a series of admonishing statements to the public on the series of the on-going struggles with outsmarting judiciary. Sutherland writes to spew out his contempt on what he believes is the abuse of power by the Supreme court Judges and points out ways through which this trend can possibly be mitigated. He believes some members of the senate take part in influencing the Supreme Court decisions in their favour or something which in the long run has the voice of who is elected as a judge or a nominee to the Supreme Court. This has seen judges who are faithful to the constitution miss the various seats they are contending from the electoral processes.
The book cites very many vices done by the judiciary but limits itself when it comes to suggestions of scrapping of the judicial system. None of the critics either suggests that the Supreme Court review should be terminated. Any judicial decision that overturns the rule of the law is as illegal as the court that acts it. The judicial system is only deemed valid when the decisions made thereof are democratically attested and are not influenced by any States official since this would create a statesmanship ruler in courts of the given country (Sutherland & Dobson,
