Patrick J Kennedy was an American politician that was born on July 14, 1967. In this quote Kennedy is describing the word terrorism in a way that if looked up in a dictionary, will have another meaning and state the intentions of the terrorist. ISIS: The State of Terror by Jessica Stern and J.M. Berger is a book about a terroristic group from the Islamic state that go by the name of ISIS which is an abbreviation for “Islamic State in Iraq and Syria.” In the book Stern and Berger talk about many topics through out the book from the rise of ISIS to some subtle ways the West should tackle this problem. Al Qaeda is the first chapter in the book ISIS: The State of Terror and it talks about the rise and fall of Al Qaeda. Before reading this book all I knew was from the decapitation to present time and all the wrong during that the extremist group has done and this book showed be a closer look at the situations and methods of their up bringing. Even though things are going to need to be updated as more and more knowledge about ISIS pops up this a good read to catch up on what has happened in the last couple of years. ISIS: The State of Terror by Jessica Sten and J.M. Berger was about all the different motives and ideologies that the ISIS terrorist group had. And with the age of modern technology, ISIS would use that and violence to their advantage to get their message across even faster than ever
