I Love Saturdays y domingos wrote by Alma Flora Ada. The story depicts a little girl of multi-cultural, ethnicity whom visits her father’s parents on Saturday and her mother’s parents on Sundays. On Saturdays, the child visits her American grandparents, where she patriciates in American culture and traditions with her grandma and grandpa. On Sunday, the child visits her multi-cultural grandparents. Her Abuelita is of Indian descent and teaches the little girl about her cultural heritage. Her Abuelito, is of Mexican decent and tells the child of his culture. While the little girl is at her Auelito and Abuelita’s they speak in Spanish, teaching the child to become bilingual.
