Summary Of Huntik: Secrets And Seekers, The Legendary Titan Of Fate

Decent Essays
Season 2 episode 8 of Huntik: Secrets & Seekers, The Legendary Titan of Fate suggests that the supernatural can be both commanded by an individual and beyond their control as well. Fate has always been seen as a supernatural force outside the power of a mortal. A force, that no matter what, cannot be changed. Different forms of magic can be controlled by supernatural beings or normal people. Magic and fate go hand in hand and, often, magic plays a part in determining the choices and ideals of people.
Spells easily fall into the area of magic that can be controlled. In the episode, the character Zhalia casts the spell, Simplemind: Man: Hey you, what on earth is going on?
Zhalia: You had a hectic day. Why don’t you three go back to your hotel

There can be very good arguments made for both of these things. Those people who believe in fate believe that everything that happens in our lives and everything that is going to happen is predetermined by a higher power; whether you’re a religious person and you believe that higher power is god, or you just believe it could be a natural or supernatural force. These people believe that everything that happens in the world is predestined and there is absolutely nothing that anyone can do about it to change it. This force of fate is implied to be an all powerful force that can make any person do any action, regardless of the situation. Romeo believes that he is controlled by fate, when, after killing Tybalt he exclaims “O, I am fortune’s fool!”(429). He does not want to accept that it was his fault for killing Tybalt, not fate or any other force. He puts this blame on fate to feel less guilty of what he has done. This theory exists only to excuse the couple of their own fault, because people do not want to blame the dead for dying, and would rather have the mystic force of fate take the…
