Disney Movies: A Fictional Narrative

"Hey Maaaaark?" I called through the house for my boyfriend. I was currently lying upside down on the couch, my legs propped up against the back.

"Hey Y/NNNNNNN?" Mark mocked, chuckling as he entered the room, playfully pushing my feet off the back of the couch as he went by. "Watcha need?" he questioned, finally plopping down next to me on my right. I shifted and lay my legs on top of his lap.

"I 'm boreddddd."

Mark rolled his eyes, "Already? Come on! We just got up!" Mark had decided to take a day off of recording videos to just hang out. He was free the whole day, but the only problem was we didn 't plan anything to do.

We sat there for a brief moment, debating what to do, then Mark suggested, "How bout a movie? When was the last time we just sat down and watched a good movie?"

Mark finished making the popcorn just as I popped the movie into the DVD player.

I chose a classic Disney movie for us to watch as I was a sucker for Disney. I knew Mark was too, but he rolled his eyes when he saw the DVD menu, a giant bowl of popcorn in his hands. "Again?"

"What do you mean again?" I put my hands on my hips.

He set the popcorn down on the side table by the couch and plopped down where I had been before. "We watched this one last time."

"You said I could pick, and it 's been way too long. Come onnnn," I whined. I only did that to annoy him, I knew it always made him give in and he knew it too.

He didn 't respond. In fact, he was the one to click play with the remote. I smiled as he said, "Now come on over here, you owe me cuddles and you 're blocking the TV."

I quickly closed the curtains to block out the lights, grabbed a blanket from the back of the couch, sat to Mark 's left, and spread the blanket out across our laps. He placed the popcorn in between both of us and I rested my head on his shoulder. He wrapped his arm around me and I snuggled closer to him. We were all out of popcorn by the first fifteen minutes of the film.

Recently, the British government has started taxing us, unfairly I might add. The British Parliament decided, on March 22, 1765, that it is a great idea to tax all of our paper products that we buy from England. It finally started on November 1, 1765. This tax money is going to be used to help pay for defending us in the colonies. This is not right because they did not have approval from colonial legislatures.…
