While a more sustainable and eco-friendly world is needed, the green infrastructure is controlled by the economy. It is the same economic power that controls our social and political abilities. Today’s society our global community is linked by communicative technologies that give us the constant ability to communicate with different people around the world to do business. It is a social factor helps produce ideas, goods, and services. It is clear that the efficiency of our economy depends substantially on the supply, value and consumption of energy from natural resources. Therefore, when our use of these natural resources would trigger degradation, which typically happens, the reduction limits productivity of economic growth. Surprisingly, the general public does not have much to do with it. It starts with our leaders and though that sounds easier said than done, these influential figures have the impact and power to access infinite resources. When bills like this are debated within the United States Congress they are picked apart until they become nothing but a mere skeleton of what the bill originally was. There is not much I can do as an individual. The lawmakers fail to connect the environment and the economy, which is unusual because others and I stress these two main concerns. By not addressing these concerns of climate change and our growing demand for energy, we create hazards to the global economy. There are two types of people in the world 1) the ones that see the problems and how to fix the issues and 2) the ones who see the issues happening and choose to ignore them.
