The hostility between Isis and the Syrian government has resulted in millions of the population fleeing from Syria to nearby countries and this condition will only continue to worsen. In the article, “Fleeing Terror, Finding Refuge” from BBC written by Paul Salopek, clarifies the situation and contributes enthralling arguments as to what we can do to solve the complication and why we must act now. Unfortunately, many of those living in Syria are stuck in the middle of the war between Isis and Syrian government resulting in millions of Syrians trying to “escape an apocalyptic civil war, creating a historic crisis,” (Salopek, 1).
