"Ender's Game" written by Orson Scott Card takes place in the future, in a future were aliens named buggers are after earth. So the military goes looking for help and stumbles upon Andrew Wiggin or Ender. Ender has a violent older brother named Peter and a sweet older sister. Ender is then recruited into the army. They then hook him up to this game where he is the only one to get passed a certain level, then causing him to start jumping around army to army until commanding his own. After many stressful events, he's ready to go home and live like a normal child so his sister valentine talks to him. Ender is then shipped to command school although he's not of age and is hooked up to a new virtual game were he fights buggers for days until eventually
