Summary Of Ender's Dying

Decent Essays
Ender gets to strike out at his enemies and still remain morally clean. Nothing is his fault. Stilson already lies defeated on the ground, yet Ender can kick him in the face until he dies, and still remain the good guy. Ender can drive bone fragments into Bonzo’s brain and then kick his dying body in the crotch, yet the entire focus is on Ender’s suffering. Ender’s Game Adaptation Movie Review Gavin Hood’s Adaptation of Orson Scott Card’s Ender’s Game is an adventurous thrill ride. Ender Wiggin played by Asa Butterfield, is a third that was not really appreciated for being the third child in his family, a third that ended up being a successful recruit for the Battle School, where Ender is being pushed to his breaking point with all of the lies they are feeding him. It seems this movie took a lot of time and effort to create, with all of the scenes and technology upgrades. This movie is a good adaptation to the book because it brings all of the action moments in the book to the screen.…

That’s only to examples of how pride becomes before the fall and I’m sure there’s more examples in the movie but that’s what stands out to me the most in this movie. Ender had some tough times in battle school but he was a good person that ended up having a big hart and ended up not being able to kill a whole galaxy.…

Ender seems to be very hard working in his different missions that his commanders give him. One point where he is very hard working is when he is in the battle with his team against Salamander Army and Rat Army and he created a very precise plan to win, and they did. He is also very smart. In his final test against the Buggers he was able to adjust his plan at the drop of a hat. Ender always seems to be very insecure and imitated by his commanders in the…

Ender’s mother was shocked that an officer was proud of the decision Ender made that got him invited to the battle school because Graff was basically promoting violence to Ender, saying it is ok to use which made the novel disturbing. Also, the violence while in battle school made the children being in the characters more disturbing because of the actions they took. Ender and Bonzo were fighting in the bathroom because Bonzo wanted to kill him, “Ender whirled in time to see Bonzo stagger backward, his nose bleeding, gasping from surprise and pain”(211). The quote shows how Ender was defending himself from Bonzo, who wanted to kill him. The character should not have been a child and shown that violence was the problem solver.…

From slavery to child labor to peer pressure, there’s always a time period where someone is forced to perform an action against their moral will, and this dreadful event occurs in novels too. Ender’s Game by Orson Scott Card, may be a science fiction novel, but it doesn’t lack the unethical elements of the real world.
