The article “Eating Frogs to Extinction” by Ian Warkentin addresses amphibians, particularly frogs, contributes a significant role in the gastronomy of several cultures, thus leading amphibians susceptible to mass extinction. Due to high consumption rate, I don’t think it is possible to banned global trading of frogs since they are one of the most various species found worldwide. However, limiting the amount of frogs that can be exported can definitely prevent frogs from becoming endangered species. This way, each year, frog species will have the opportunity to mate and reproduce before becoming extinct. For this to actually happen, every single frog that is captured and exported must be recorded. Similar to what the author said in his article, the fact that many countries that export frogs, for example Indonesia, lack monitoring and managing the wild harvesting of frogs, it is very liking that the overexploitation can lead to frogs becoming endangered species in that country. Therefore, these systems must be corrected before it becomes too late. To do that, species must be counted and identified and noted before being sent to anywhere else. If they exceed the limitation, a warning can be given for the first time. If there is a second attempt, then fines should be charged as a
