Final Paper Assignment Many drivers risk lives daily, whether it is their own lives or others.Drivers should be more acquainted to what they are doing, and need to become more cautious to their surroundings. The risk that drivers can obtain can be very detrimental and lead to severe injuries or even death. Importantly, the drivers that are violating the rules of the road can cause consequences for drivers that are doing the right things. According to Dave Barry he states that “I have driven in every major U.S. city, including Boston, where the motorists all drive as though there is an open drawbridge just ahead, and they need to gain speed so they can jump across it” (Barry 571). All the drivers that have been terrible drivers never amounted to the ones of Miami. Barry explains how he has also “driven in Italy, where there is only one traffic law, which is that no driver may ever be behind any other driver, the result being that at all times, all the motorists in the nation, including those in funeral processions, are simultaneously trying to pass” (Barry 572).
