The book, “Divided We Fall”, is very political and deals with social problems that would involve people to be tolerant. In the book there are many who are not tolerant and who won’t assimilate in the situation they’re in. I think the author meant to show many others not being tolerant or assimilative in order to show that these are good traits to have. The people protesting in Boise were certainly not tolerant to the Governor’s opposing views and that did not end well for them. The protesters were not tolerant of the National Guard trying to control the situation and threw things at soldiers. This ended poorly for them for they were fired on by a soldier who was hit by an object thrown. Another example is Governor Montaine of Idaho. He could
