Max is a 5-Year-old boy who is actually in Kindergarten. Max has physical which doesn’t affect his learning and learning disabilities. When Max was born mom had difficulties during the pregnancy based on information provided by grandparents. Max live with his grandparents, he also have a baby brother who live with Max’s biological parents. The services provided to Max are occupational and physical therapies and a one to one health paraprofessional who give him support in the classroom through the day.

For instance after Max is sent to work independently he needs the task repeated to him. Teacher will then ask him to repeat the task before he goes off to work independently in order to check for understanding. Currently he is reading on a level B as per Fountas & Pinnell reading scale, which is a kindergarten level. He is able to identify about 10 sight words and has correspondence when reading. Students are ask to say a word that the professor is showing, then spell the word and repeat the word again. I noticed how Max seem to be doing the same as the other students but is demonstrated that he is not retaining the information when the teacher ask him to spell a word by himself, a word that she just spelled.
During math Max had to complete a partner of numbers from 1-20, he can count and say the numbers but he cannot recognize them. The rest of the class finishes the task in about 5 minutes. Max had difficulties writing and identifying the greater numbers.
During Science, the teacher explained the students about matter. During this lesson students had to use a cup full of water with soap and blow with a straw. Then the teacher asked the students what matter was inside the bubbles. Max asked continues questions because he couldn't understand what happened. Teacher explained that they have been learning about that for about a week. Also Max had difficulties grasping the cup and blowing. This is evidence of weak motor
