The Genius Files, by Dan Gutman, relates to A Sound of Thunder in many ways. The Genius Files is about a pair of twins Coke and Pepsi that are tangled in the midst of a terrible situation. They are on a cross country journey in a RV with their parents. The twins are struggling to survive the torture they are going through. The twins have survived tourist traps and many more. Coke and Pep are considered ordinary teenagers.They are part of a secret program called the Genius Files, and they have some major enemies. Coke also has photographic memory and Pep has real talent for deciphering codes.This separates them from being like any other teenager.
A Sound of Thunder is about a Safari Trip. A hunter named Eckels pays $10,000 to travel with time
