Looking as to set up for another strike he turns the dagger on himself, taking his own life. He returns to the his city and with his wife hearing the news of her son already dead Creon's wife drinks a poison and takes her own life. Creon returns home with his wife dead now, his son Haemon, his niece Antigone, he has now lost his entire family and is now left in a state of near paralysis.
In the end they both has their reason as to why they did their actions. Antigone could had easily done absolutely nothing obeyed Creon's orders and she would still have her own life and would had never encountered any difficult situation thus having everyone alive. However, her brother would had never gotten a proper and his soul would had never rested. Creon's actions could had played out different as well. He could had just gave both Eteocles and Polyneices a proper burial no one told him to just give only to one. Antigone would had been happy she would had never gone through those actions of her probably would had respected Creon more if he had done so but, instead he didn't which lead to her despising him. His family would all still be here and he wouldn't be in the state of paralysis that he is however, that case still ended up being his
