What's magical about our chemistry is the fusion of random knowledge, binding us together like a single central nervous system. In addition, we've got grit. It gives the reader a clue that Faith was named to represent the faith of Young Goodman Brown; such as the faith in this own life or the faith in god. For example when it states “Come, Goodman Brown, cried his fellow-traveler; this is a dull pace for the beginning of the journey. Take my staff, if you are soon weary” and “We are but a little way in the forest yet.”…

Within this journal, I will be evaluating the themes in To Kill A Mockingbird. To begin, one of the themes displayed in the novel is the coexistence of the innocent and evil. Journal # 1 Heart of Darkness by Joseph Conrad is a book I read for my University English class. People always say don’t judge a book by it’s cover, but I am that one guy that does. When I first looked at the book to be completely honest, I thought it had something to do with witches or something really unrealistic. I know I have a wild imagination. The first couple of pages of the book got me hooked instantly, I loved how the book just starts and how the narrator gets right into his adventure as a young man into the Congo River.…
