Summary Of Arguments On The Patient's Discharging

Reporter stated the following: The patient discharged on today. The mom is refusing to come get him because she does not have transportation. The mom said she was not aware that he discharge today. The therapist (Elizabeth) said she notified the mom of his discharge date in Wednesday. She said the mom was not happy about him discharging on Friday. She (mom) said she will need Medicaid transport. There were no arrangements made for Medicaid transport. The social worker (Elizabeth) said she was not aware of Medicaid transport. He is a special needs child. He is in regular and special Ed classes. The doctor said someone has to come get him before midnight. We had to call you all. The doctor will not readmit him.
