Our imagination is the greatest power that we can have. It will lead us to see the world differently, and will make you believe to the impossible. If you do not believe with yourself, you will live a life full of regrets. Everything is inside your head. If you believe hard enough, there is a possibility that it will become a reality. In the short story, Frog told Katagiri that the battle happened in his dreams or mind. Meaning to say, what he thought was a full interaction and face to face combat with Worm is only in his head. Another one is that he does not believe in himself especially when Frog asked him to help him fight with frog that will solve the upcoming biggest earthquake in Tokyo that can kill 150,000 people mostly with transportation accidents.

He is willing to die for them even though the process or the battle will be a lonely one. Frog do not wish to have a combat with Worm but he has no choice. Frog is not asking anything in return. Katagiri is like Frog. He is willing to do everything for his family. With a young age, three of them ( his brother and sister), was left orphaned by both of his parents. Katagiri raised his brother and sister all by himself. He supported them in their college and even helped them with their marriage but they don’t even give thanks to him. In his work, everybody belittle him. They do not give respect to Katagiri even hough his the one who goes alone in Kabuchiko town with the mobsters and gangsters. Whatever Katagiri’s sacrifices are, they do not appreciate him. Both of them, Fog and Katagiri, was selfless. They do not think about themselves but the greater good of everyone around
