I enjoy Matisse’s use of color and design. “In Matisse’s art there is no struggle, no shock, and no tension. (Lewis & Lewis, 2014, p.400). Picasso did his work by “literally attaching bits and pieces from everyday life- inventing college.” (Lewis & Lewis, 2014, p.404). This is attention-grabbing to me because it makes you study his picture in depth. In the video, A New Voice for the 21st Century: Alexander Nechita. I was really inspired by her words caught my interest right away. “Eyes are covered by today’s world” (Nechita, 2010). Her statement is so true today’s world can be a confusing and a demanding place. My family has always been my first passion. To nurture my children into becoming respectful, intelligent, and independent individuals.
