In Ryan Brown’s essay titled, “A Community of Cars,” he argues that the human race as a whole has become dependent on automobiles in a sense that we forget important human needs, such as exercise. People constantly want to drive places, even to places that would only take a ten to fifteen-minute walk to get to. Walking is immensely healthier for people than just sitting in a car seat for a few minute drive. By not walking, people can easily develop heart disease. Brown uses the fuel-efficient cars as a solution to his problem-based essay. His argument in his essay is focused and revelatory.
