“15 Gone” FADE IN:

EXT. PLAYGROUND - DAY

SUPER

Children and parents alike bustle around the merry go round, slides and swings. A woman walks with her 10 year old son past the monkey bars.

The young boy, ADRIAN, looks like your average happy 10 year old as he holds his mother’s hand and takes sips out of his juice box.

His mother, a pretty woman in her early thirties, stares at the other families with a husband and wife monitoring each child and then stares back at her son and smiles.

EXT. EDGE OF PLAYGROUND - DAY

The two stand where the grass meets the mulch. The mom sees a friend of hers by the curvy slide and they wave at each other.

ADRIAN
Mom, can I go play?

MOM
Sure, but stay close. I’m going to talk to Brenda.

There is no nameplate on his desk and no diplomas of any kind on the walls. He has some books on shelves, but his office is disfigured by out of place hunting “trophies.”
There is a mounted deer head behind his desk, a stuffed wolf in the corner of the room, and large mounted fish on the wall. This place looks like the Bates Motel from Psycho.

Sitting across from him is Brennan. He is a 26 year old man who is dressed in a nice suit with a brightly colored shirt, but without a tie. He looks like a nightclub bouncer.

DR. SLEEMAN
It’s time to progress things with Adrian.

BARTON

DR. SLEEMAN
I’m glad you see it that way. We will amp up his regiment. I expect you will keep a close watch.

BARTON
Absolutely. He’s my responsibility. He needs to move on and start again. This will do us some good here.

DR. SLEEMAN
Right...good luck with, uh, that.

INT. ADRIAN’S HOUSE - CONTINUOUS

The layout of the house is unsophisticated. The front door is centrally located in the entranceway. The right side of the first floor has a large living room and the left side has a dining room that leads into the

He walks back to the front door of the house where he sets the box down again. He quickly knocks on the door, and then runs back to his truck.

Adrian watches the driver get into the truck as he notices a sign on the back of the truck the reads “Questions or Comments” and then it lists a phone number.

He quickly reaches for his phone, heart racing, and begins to dial the number as the driver slams on the gas allowing his tires to squeal as he pulls away.

ADRIAN (on the phone)
Yes, I’m calling in regards to one of your worker’s license plate number?

He looks through the binoculars as he sees the truck turning the corner.

ADRIAN
814-XY4F...Yes, I just wanted to enlighten you to superb job your driver has done. He took such care in making sure the customer would never forget this delivery. He brought so much to this one drop off that I could only assume he brings the same amount of struggle and effort to every package he delivers. Very good.

Adrian sees his neighbor come out of the house and look down at the package. She seems confused as she picks it up. He sees the neighbor get a quick whiff of the rank cube in her hands, which leads to her quickly dropping the

In fact, a person’s gentility would often be defined by their possession of material goods. While the colonial consumer revolution is characteristic of the eighteenth century, the growing affinity for refinement and the acquisition of goods begins even in the seventeenth century. In evaluating the Pearl-Brown house, the Jaffrey house parlor, and…

Pablo Picasso: The Tragedy In Picasso’s “The Tragedy,” he used several different techniques to create the visual elements in the painting. The three figures, carefully drawn, and the use of contour lines help shape their bodies and show the deep thought in their faces. The color used in the painting was mainly shades of blue. The beach is a greenish blue, set against the pale blue sea, the sky is a darkened dusky blue, bringing a cold, emptiness to the piece. It is as if you were looking at the painting wearing spectacles with blue colored lenses.…
