Summary: Occupational Therapy Case Study

One of my patients on case load is PF she has earl signs of dementia or a cognitive disorder. She was put on occupational therapy case load for safety awareness and safety with functional mobility. One of her goals is to be safe while retrieving clothing items from her closet. So one activity I came up with her is placing cone around the gym at different heights and where she would have to safely maneuver around obstacles. She would then have to go retrieve them. I explained the activity to her and also gave her visual demo. I told her we was doing this so I can see how her balance is when she reaching for things. I also explained that by doing this I can help her identify what she doing that was unsafe when she doing these type of
