/F contact with the minors, Yannina, Camilla and Antonella at the FFA home of Mr. and Ms. Pownell. This worker arrived to find the three girls in their room watching television. The girls appeared healthy and well fed. The girls did not appear to have any marks or bruises however this worker did notice some small bruises on Camilla’s leg. Camilla indicated that she get the bruises when she falls down or bumps into things. I asked the girls if I could speak to them individually but they wanted to talk to this worker together. I asked the girls if they felt safe at the home of the Pownell’s. They also indicated that when indicated that they are able to eat basically whatever they want. The girls indicated that if they needed anything that the Pownell’s will usually get it …show more content…
They denied being having any problems or being bullied at school. The girls indicated that they continue to have visits with their mother and siblings but expressed a desire to see them more often. This worker talked to the girls about Camp-Connect and how they could meet their siblings there. In addition, I informed them I would look into finding a way to facilitate more visits. This worker also discussed with Camilla and Antonella having separate visits with their bio-fathers. Camilla was informed about the upcoming border visit and Antonella was informed that her father would pick her up on Saturday and would be spending all day with him. She was informed that she would eventually be spending the weekend with him. Antonella seemed to understand. The girls were asked if there had anything they wanted to speak to this worker about in private. The girls indicated that they did not. After meeting with the girls this worker talked to Ms. Pownell about visits and she stated she understood. I informed her about Mr. Hernandez and how he would be having all day visits and weekend visits and that this would occur quickly. Ms. Pownell stated she understood.
