The information is easy to understand and interpret allowing the reader to form an opinion of the validity of the study and outcomes. The article has a weakness that I observed while reading. The study only investigates the relationship between the child and mother. The study should include the fathers to further develop a basis of what relationships develop between the child and both parents when possible. Additional settings for observation and training would enhance value of the study. Social interactions often occur outside of the home setting and children with behavioral disabilities would gain from information and techniques to improve the experiences. The study could also gain value through the inclusion of group interactions and settings. The results gained through additional settings and group interaction would provide information to compare stress levels of the interaction between peers or family
