Objective Two, Section D
This document encapsulates communication between Marilyn Stotts and Nancy Holub regarding Objective Two, Section D of the Learning Objectives for the breast wellness project. Prior to initiating the project, Nancy was informed about the requirements of this project. These requirements included the purpose, scope, and topic of this assignment. She agreed to mentor me.
The ANA website reports, “Mentoring is a broad caring role that encompasses formal or informal supporting, guiding, coaching, teaching, role modeling, counseling, advocating, networking, and sharing” (American Nurses Association, 2015). Nancy was an exemplary and valuable mentor who assisted the writer throughout this project.
Nancy Holub evaluated documents prepared by Marilyn Stotts regarding health policies, standards of care, governance in community settings, and regulatory issues as they pertain to breast health. This document is an “evidence of accomplishment” for this assignment.

Nancy’s comments were helpful during this process and the writer incorporated her suggestions. Nancy’s comments regarding the preliminary documents were that the concepts in these initial drafts needed to be developed and discussed in more detail. These documents were revised based on her recommendations. She also assisted with mechanical issues including spelling, punctuation, and APA formatting. One comment she provided was, “I looked over your work and made some revisions. I liked your work, but it is helpful to look them over every day and make minor revisions/additions.” I began to read my documents more frequently to help identify a few issues each
