Recently, I have been asked a lot about the difference between having The Blues and being depressed. I give depression awareness advice through my business and LifeTips.com and have published an e book titled, " Keep The Magic and Survive Their Depression" which will be sold soon at Wendi.com. With depression ads all over the media many people are becoming skittish about what they are feeling and if it relates to depression. Apparently, commercials meant to compete for you dollars in the antidepressant drug market are making people question whether they do have The Blues or suffer a depression disorder. The Blues can be caused by food, drink, emotion, uneven sleep, a persistent disruption of your regular workout program or a temporary hormone imbalance. …show more content…
Has you alcohol intake increased? Alcoholic drinks usually accompany a lot of mini celebration and get togethers. Have you been under a lot of stress at work or home? Has a child or loved one left the nest for extended periods? Could it be you are anticipating that they will in the near future? These things can make you sad and have The Blues and it is ok. Disruption of sleep can be devastating to mood. The baby is not sleeping all night. One of the kids is sick. You are sick. My dog's illness causes him to wake me many times a night on occasion. Honestly, if I do not get five hours straight sleep, I am not Mr. Happy the next day. Worry or anxiety may be robbing you of necessary shuteye. I can vouch that The Blues will happen. Again, it is ok. Are you having problems keeping with the workout program you have grown accustomed to? People who maintain a regular workout regimen over a long period of time have problems when it becomes interfered with on a regular basis. It is not just a disruption in you workout, but in your hormonal production as well. This can be solved by getting an inexpensive walk mill and keeping it on hand. Some exercise is better than
