This journal entry explains how a device to control blood glucose function, by regulating insulin and glucagon automatically to improve Type 1 diabetes. The first experiment done consisted of eleven people. The regulators were through a software database that delivered the controls to each person when needed. The system used in made from combining the following: a glucose sensor, a controlled computer software, and a device to infuse the insulin. Together these devices closely relate to the glucose regulating function of what is known as a pancreas. The software’s main purpose is to connect the glucose monitor and the insulin infusion pump to allow a constant communication between the two devices. The device not only monitors the glucose
